What does UGC mean in gaming software listings?

I've come across UGC in a few gaming software listings and I'm not sure what the sellers mean by it.

I know it commonly stands for user-generated content, but sometimes it appears alongside other software products without much explanation.

Is it always referring to player-created content, or can it mean something different in a particular product catalogue?

UGC commonly means user-generated content, like content made by players rather than the game developer. But context matters.

If it's listed as a standalone product, I'd read its own description before assuming it's a creation tool or a cosmetic feature.

Acronyms are a nightmare. Half the time everyone assumes they know what a label means and nobody actually checks lol.

I'd look for a concrete explanation of what the software does, which game it supports, and what the requirements are.

Yep. The abbreviation alone isn't enough to establish functionality. The product documentation should spell it out.
